In the SP meta it's lame to be without a PR, with a good amount of players staying inactive throughout the game there is not much discussion going on. An if you couple that to the the current meta of "who normally plays active gets killed fast", it's really saddening how quiet the game becomes.
Anyway, I don't have that much knowledge on serious mafia games =P
