Also, does every type of ore drop all the usables? I've got 7 pounding hearts, 2 triangular rice balls, and 2 gramophones so far, but no alarm clocks, and I'm training in a map with only red/blue ore.
so far, i only seem to get clocks from heartstones, BUT i got my first clock froma purple vein (the huge ones that give lidium) today, so it seems the higher-leveled, the more chances to get a clock, haven't gotten any from other veins.
as for shortest span, it would take 20 pounding hearts, 700 etc drops, and 4 clocks.
level1: 10 pounding hearts plus 100 drops = 50 closeness

this assumming the imp is on a corner so it takes 3 days, or you can simply wait and save a clock on the last day, since they are so scarce, also, it sucks, i got a golden shovel, it has durability and can't be repaired. herp-a-derp
