Lots of clarification + questions

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I didn't think that this deserved its own thread, and this seemed like a good place to ask on. Do the plants and ore veins drop specific seeds(or flowers)/ores, or do they all drop all of them with a higher chance of the better ones with bigger plants/veins?

Colors basically match up. Silver veins drop silver and sapphire, purple veins drop amethyst and orihalcum type of thing. I think blue is steel and aquamarine, red is garnet and adamantium, etc.
