a great example, as a warrior, you have a passive +20% HP skill. you equip a Czak, a CHTP, and a rex earring, and you have 150% HP
if you use decent HB, you would go from 150%, to 190% hp, however, since the 150% hp is passive, it feels that you are getting less hp.
