Love is a useless emotion developed by the flaw of the human brain to bring some "beauty" to our survival instinct. We mate to pro-create and pass on our genes. It has been our instinct by which we've survived for thousands of years. Human's tend to over-complicate things with useless emotions.

Sarah hit the nail on the head though. There are multiple emotions which are often times felt by teenagers and then qualified as love because they don't know any better. Lust, affection, admiration, and more. In fact of all the people who posted in this thread, I'd bet my bottom dollar that less than 25% actually have felt love, and that less than that are even sure if they have. Either case, don't beat yourself up about it. As I've said. Meaningless.
