Stephen Harper Appoints defeated house candidates to the Senate

Jesus christ. Not even unexpected but the thing that really bothers me about this is that he's calling it a democratic move.

Democracy doesn't have the people who we don't trust to represent our riding put into a position of higher power because they're pals with the Prime Minister.
