Best Hockey goal ever. FINLAND FTW

My intention was not "LOOK GUYS, FINLAND IS THE BEST COUNTRY IN HOCKEY OF ALL TIME". It was "Look, check out this probably the greatest goal ever". Because, personally I haven't seen anything like it. It was the top headline at NHL.com.

But then Americans came in. "Lol, that's nothing. Happens always in NHL."

NHL is the best hockey league, not because it is in AMERICA, but because most of the international top players play there (bit less now, when there's KHL)

I was not saying that you were saying that, nor do I think anyone else is. I only came into this thread because you were acting like it was never done before, and as such yes, the greatest goal ever. I provided a video of college hockey in the US from 1996 that showed otherwise. You are the one who started on with the Euro/Finland players being the best, not us.

Yes, there are top players in the NHL that are from Europe, and other countries, that however is not the point, either. I said that there are more Canadian/United States players in the NHL than Europe, not best players. Though I wouldn't doubt that there are more top North America players than Europe in the NHL.

The Olympics is the event people want to go to, that people want to watch. Do you ever hear athletes that they want to get that World Championship gold? No. They want Olympic gold. WC is just a bonus.
