Pre-LHC OB4 was still the best but the exp you got from there didn't change at all. Only the level that you could go, which increased from 13x to 16x. Creating more spots to train doesn't make them viable when the maximum possible isn't changed and made harder to reach.

As far as variety, chaos will hopefully change that for high levels.

Comparing exp/hr ratios from pre-bb to post bb isnt comparing map availability to train. pre bb it was lv 108-200 skeles with a bishop.
post bb theres is so many 108-"high lv". Just because people got more exp pre-bb doesn't mean there isnt more maps to train at from that long period of time from early 4th job to "high lv"
