a big hurdle for nexon on android is the mess of a in app purchasing system on the platform. the app store on ios, being locked into one marketplace and buyers account... is easy to operate in when your creating a give away game w/item selling.
i think angry birds has been the first third party app to on andriod to use any item purchasing system, with cell phone billing. not something many publishers want to deal with. plus the google checkout requirement (up till now), turns a lot of developers off.
given all the marketplaces you have to deal with also adds a second layer of work when you look at in app selling. supposedly google' marketplace is rolling out in app purchasing next week. how well it'll work or be received though is another question.
if they can get a system in place thats not a huge hassle and works, it would make sense for nexon to jump in.
although, on the other side of things, nexon has a strange affinity for selecting one platform to marry itself to. usually whatever is dominate in south korea. apple has a good foothold in asia when it comes to the mobile market. even though mac's and non IE browsers make up a good % of the market outside of asia... nexon has been slow as hell to accept multi platform friendliness. something i hope they change...
