A. You don't even need to make a UA to benefit from the 24 weapon attack blessing. The blessing's applied to every character on your account with the exception of the Cygnus itself. To add to this, claws may be the weakest in straight numbers, but they have the highest damage multiplier out of any weapon.
B. Vampire sucks for healing. If you want to heal, use drain or a potion. Knockback from Vampire is unreliable, too, since it does so little damage. Avenger has far better knockback capabilities as it's stronger and has more speed. Vampire also has huge cast delay.
C. The gear will get replaced in the long run. Not even sure why this is brought up.
D. 4 STR, 25 DEX, 4 INT, remainder in LUK. You cannot reset DEX under 25.
If you want to wear the Von Leon set, you can do the math yourself. Meet the 160 DEX requirement through means other than the set items and you'll be able to achieve it. You can be dexless, but dexless doesn't have a big enough advantage over low-dex to warrant the amount of extra cost you'd need to justify the power increase from wearing the Von Leon set without raising a single point in DEX.

I want to point out that aside from the HP loss, you also lose out on the extra row of Use slots. This can make a big difference or a small difference depending on how much NX you wish to expend. If you're the type who doesn't use NX for Use slots, I suggest you don't make a UA Night Lord let alone a Night Lord to begin with. That's 4 less sets of stars you can carry and depending on your job tier, means less uptime for your Night Lord. Night Lords who run out of stars in a short time span need to uninstall.
