Are you sure Expert Throwing Star Handling is a straight +25% damage and not a 1.25x increase?
Never mind, Expert Throwing Star Handling is indeed a 1.25x increase in damage, making Avenger do 1289.7%/s which is indeed stronger than Triple Throw on two targets.
Expert handling, % boss damage and % total damage is all applied again for the shadow partner hits.
