Hmm, I would tend to agree not to go too far on Valentine's day, but you could get her something small to let her know you're thinking of her. Depending on her likes, you could go with anything from chocolates, flowers, stuffed animals, jewelry, etc. Now as I said, a lot of those choices depend heavily on her tastes and how far you want to go as far as expressing interest. The main reason you may not want to go too far is that you don't want her to feel pressured/obligated to respond to you in some form. Ideally you know her well enough to pick something she'll appreciate, and understand that you do like her, but nothing too extreme. I dunno, it's hard to give you advice with so many variables.
