Thinking about making a Buccaneer

I believe that dragon strike can be jump casted after chaos but wouldn't know really have only saw that one pvp video and skills are changed in that a bit than in regular areas. Buccaneers level pretty decently but saying exactly how many hours to get to 120 would be difficult probably takes an average person two weeks to get to it, if you play almost all day a week.

Anyhow it's a great class actually and seems to level pretty fast even in forth job or at least I think so....also hate to be rude to old buccaneers but get over the changes it's pretty much the same play style as before just backwards and technically faster, sick of buccaneers complaining about the changes when it is a improvement. We are still unique in ways as well.

Yeah that is true. But us old folk were kinda used to it xD

I enjoyed playing the old style, not because i HAD to do it, but because it was fun. The slow monotony that is the spam rushing now is just not as fun as it was before (plus i like the added benefit of iFrames; saved me tons of potions and therefore money- and when you can't afford NX shops and time to set up shops all day, saving every penny you get it important).


I realized i also didn't answer OPs questions so:

You can glitch hop like an archer's jumpshot. functional on some keyboards, non existent on others.

Decent end game: as high attack as you can afford to get, preferably perfectly scrolled VIP knuckle (as of now; later doesn't really matter)

In hours: considering how easy it was for me to level , i'd say a good week or so if you play a good 4 hours a day with an HS mule and 1.2 EXP family reps. Hell if you're one of those crazy people, then 2 days should be enough. It really doesn't matter on the funding portion to level faster. It takes the same amount of EXP to level regardless of your equipment.


P.S> lack of mobility still haunts us until at least 4th job. All you can do is get decent haste shoes or speed/jump equips to make up for that.

Damage nowadays is ALL dependent on funding. Can you get 3-lines of everything and proceed to cube it to the fullest extent (meaning 15% main stat +)? Can you afford to mass scroll a weapon endlessly AND cube it to hell and back? Can you afford chaos weaponry AND have to patience to get a 3-liner AND cube it to hell and back WHILE scrolling all your equips? And this appliees not only to buccaneers, but to EVERY class available. I could go on, but i think by now you can pretty much get the picture yourself.
