This thing has amazing potential. If we can get a lazer guidance system accurate enough to keep pace with an enemy warhead, we could hypothetically use this thing as a missile defense system. Enemy launching super warheads to attack the states from a battleship? Shoot the warheads while they're en route and then you can neutralize the ship. A small weight and small size allows for mass storage and cheapness, creating the ultimate weapon if anything.
