Unless you've done some research into it I suggest you keep opinions like these to yourself as you're going to annoy the hell out of those who lost everything (items, mesos and nx) through this terrible hack. The dc hacking spree you must have quit ms during because I nobody could ignore that.
As for the item locks thing, I will be more satisfied if my items were deleted than a hacker getting them.
On a side note, everyone here knows that if you blow up your wedding ring, your char cant be deleted right?
... How do you blow up your wedding ring? What does that even have to do with Char deletion? Is that some sort of glitch?

Yes this would be a constant WIP to gather and dissect every possible proxy IP address but it could stop a majority of non-GlobalMS zone based hacking coming from areas deemed at times by internet security analysts as non-friendly or untrustworthy almost immediately.
There is one thing I'm curious about as to why no gaming company or companies have thought of this... hiring a 3rd party legal team representing a joint union of MMO gaming companies to go after known hackers full time. I'm fairly certain this has never been considered, but just think of the power base that could be formed if companies like Blizzard, Nexon, Square-Enix, etc. all joined forces with a 3rd party legal group to go after hackers and the communities that sponsor them both in the US and abroad.
The only problem I see with that, is that I feel like hackers can't be easily traced. Also you'll have a lot of children's parents (because from what I've seen the most annoying hackers are children) suing back at the fact that it is "just a game." Or the legal system wouldn't be able to handle it and months/years will pass before any case gets settled. See the OdinMS trial?
