I'm disregarding the rhetoric for facts that can actually be addressed, like this one. How many family's stories of immigrating to America involve working two or three jobs for insane hours to put self through school to get that education to get the better job to live the American Dream? Everyone starts somewhere. Saying they're unqualified for higher end jobs when they move here is essentially telling a baby they'll never be able to run because they haven't learned to crawl yet.

I'm not being optimistic, I'm pragmatic by nature and largely apathetic. I'm simply trying to look from all sides. Rather than blindly agreeing with people I believe in contesting it to see if what they're saying has any provable merit to back it up or is purely opinion or regurgitated rhetoric. So far on this one I'd say it's a draw because too much relies on undefined variables. There's almost nothing but could/should/might going on and no defined parameters in which to work.
