Illegal Immigrants and Capitalism

Already occurring due to off-shoring.
If here was the cheaper alternative that's work, and money, and taxes, that'd be staying within our own economy as opposed to bleeding out.

I honestly doubt there's such a thing as too many workers. The more people there are the more that can be done. Most of the people I know of who've been unemployed recently have been so because they felt the jobs available were beneath them. Immigrants tend to come willing to do anything with a dream of getting ahead and finding their niche, or even inventing new niches.

And that's not even beginning to say both "Ya know Hitler had used public works programs, and look where that wound up?" and what exactly would be done/made/built/repaired.

also how many people aren't able to get jobs because they are qualified to get them? what's it take to get qualified? college diploma.

I like the positive and optimistic attitude of yours Eos, but that's just not how things work, and thinking that we can just let anyone into the country is bad. I mean, I am no fan of these ridiculous security procedures performed at airports and across other public areas "for our protection from the terrorists" myself and oppose them as needless, but to say that we should let anyone become a citizen is a double edged sword. Sure it makes our nation seem like a caring mother with arms wide open (pardon the visualization of lady liberty as such), but it also could be twisted to portray us as whores with legs spread wide open and letting anyone just come and take advantage of us then leave as they please (also pardon that mental-picture).
