Illegal Immigrants and Capitalism

While I agree with you for the most part, you can't just make everyone legal. A lot of the illegal immigrants that make it to the U.S are in fact fleeing the law from their native countries. There has to be some sort of a faster screening process.

Erm... Political Asylum does not immigration make.

More people equals more demand equals more opportunity for positions to fulfill the demand.

Adding to the denominator is the only way to increase the numerator in some conditions.

Example: a restaurant suddenly has double the number of patrons, it needs more servers and possibly another cook to keep up.
A grocery store has more customers, it needs more cashiers available during peak hours.

This isn't that challenging of a concept. It's win win. More traffic = more spending = more earning = more jobs.

Eos, you're forgetting that the rich want to get richer, and will do whatever is sensibly feasible to cut as many costs as possible; look at how many companies outsource jobs to other countries, or cut entire sections of dedicated-to-one-task workers to have a smaller workforce of jack-of-all-trades employees. You're ignoring the inherent flaws in any system: the human element.
