Downgrading to XP
#12
Ray is mostly correct when it comes to the security flaws. Microsoft actually has started to phase of XP support completely.

MapleStory runs completely flawless on Windows Vista and 7, minus the major boss bug which ONLY requires disabling the Audio Device in Device Manager prior to going into the boss area. Other than the Boss Bug and Error 38 (which affects the Cash Shop) these are the two only major bugs that are affecting game play.

I stated this originally as well. Most hardware DOESN'T have proper, if any, Windows XP driver support.

If you have a SATA based system, I recommend you DO NOT attempt this. Most newer SATA systems that do not have IDE drives for at least the Optical drive or the Hard Drive will not boot Windows XP due to lack of proper drives, and most that don't have drivers require SATA/SCSI/RAID drivers from a Floppy disk and even then, most modern PCs do not have these anymore.

So you have been thoroughly warned.
