Even though Vindictus is a prequel to Mabinogi both are still updated regardless. Plus both are played differently which you can pick which adventure you like more. With Maple the ONLY way I can see this working is if it's hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years in the future because what about the classes? Why would they just disappear for no reason? The only way I can see them getting around that plot hole is if its in a new universe all together.
