So you could not max SE and have the "y no max SE?" comments, which i would proptly respond by saying "too expensive; no money"
YOU DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW A BUILD STRAIGHT THROUGH TO THE LETTER. that is why they are builds. After all, it is your character.
