I recently acquired a new 4th generation iPod touch, and this is the first Apple product I've owned (I have never owned a iPhone or the original iPod [or its nano version], or a Mac computer in the past. I'm not sheltered when it comes to playing with new technological toys. I chose not to get one of the Apple toys until later.

With that, do you guys have excellent recommendations for good, useful iPod touch applications? Preferably, I'm looking for apps that are available for free, but I will also consider apps that won't burn a hole in my pocket.
(Note: I have already downloaded a few free apps that I had heard of previously, or have toyed with before in the past)
