Isn't there some sort of timer on pet commands to prevent spammers from spamming their way to high pet levels? It's like 3 seconds or something, I dunno... I read about this from a different guide, and it makes sense.

I think the closeness level has something to do with the pet command interval timers, like 1~10 is 30-60 secs, 10~20 is 15-30 secs, and 20~30 is under 15 secs. I've never gotten a pet that high, so I'm unsure on that.

Good guide, but I think you should add pictures and maybe a descriptions of the pets.
