I think that it would be a nice gesture if people don't go around calling other people's choices (probs what are some of their fave songs, too) terrible, awful, etc - saying "[x] is not my taste" or something similar gets the same message across without indirectly insulting somebody's musical preference.
Not trying to pick on you yosh, I've just seen comments like that going around and I think it's counter-intuitive to the spirit of the competition.
