Somehow, nowadays, the number of people who feel that way about blacks is much smaller than it was 100 years ago. You know why? Because of education and because of laws. Because of not giving in to racism and allowing it to control us because "people can't help how they feel".
Same thing with homosexuality. Letting homophobia dictate laws only perpetuates it. Only by repeatedly overruling it can we hope to eradicate it.
