But things like this can cause units and companies in the military to become destabilized and cause not only dissension among it's members but also spark other problems such as hate related violence as well. As stated this law is a double edged sword. It could promote more openly gay individuals to join the military, but it could also push them or non-gays out of the military as well. There will probably be some soldiers and higher ups who are possibly even hardcore dedicated say that they are having a problem with it because it's not creating a cohesive unit and causing dissension within the ranks.

There are people who have different levels of tolerance and when you exceed those boundaries you will create a problem.

Military or not, people are still people and they still will have problems.
