Ah, I remember that vid, pretty good stuff as far as explanations go.

As for me, I just tend to think of things in terms of calabi-yau shapes. Oddly makes things easier for me despite how impossible to visualize they are. But dang, this thread reminds me how I haven't done squat as far as keeping up with the latest theories over the past 5 years. Hell, I founded a theoretical physics club back in high school and I can't remember half the stuff I discussed back then already even though I still have the book I got my info from right here with me. The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene if anyone's interested. Good stuff right there.
