Now this makes sense. I suppose hundreds of episodes is less daunting when you're just taking them a week at a time. How anyone can sit through the filler, though, will be forever beyond my understanding.

@above: YES, that's exactly what I'm saying. I often get to that 50ish point mark, and then I just can't bring myself to go back. The exceptions being Pokemon and Dragonball, but I was younger and had trouble recognizing patterns back then. Plus I watched them as they progressed, like Kunagisa mentioned.
