There's a spawn timer for the Aliens, although I'm unsure on the exact time. Every time you kill one alien and another spawns, it's because the timer is queue backed up to X amount of spawns. For most of the OB4 maps in Khaini, it takes well over 30+ min just to clear the map out of alien spawns, it's really annoying, but it pays off majorly in the end.
