Well technically the world isn't going to turn backwards. Just the magnetic field or whatever. soooo yea?

Magnetic "north" and "north" is not the same. North and south is defined by the axis on which the planet rotates and not on its magnetic field. If magnetic north was what we base our directions on, our maps would be slightly slanted. The South Pole will remain the South Pole unless a meteor hits us and tilts Earth.
