The word "enslaved" is meant to be used only for its concept in a more melodramatic way. Even you have to admit that people these days tend to use the behaviours of those of us who stand there and do nothing as a means to reflect the rest of us who don't do it. It is speaking in the language of most people that apparently does not apply to you.
