This is why I watch Japanese version of One Piece.

4Kids: We think "localization" means bastardizing a series so as to ruin the integrity of it.

I believe there's a quote floating around somewhere of one of the higher-ups saying something along the lines of "By the time we're done with them, the kids don't even know they're Japanese anymore".
