Agreed, though when some of my close friends at college found out I played video games, they instantly teased calling me a "gaymer."

12 years long or so. Starting with Pokemon Blue and a lime green GameBoy Color > GameBoy Advance > Gamecube > Nintendo DS > Computer (lolMS) > Nintendo Wii
Oh, and @OP: Respect and brofist for Oracle of Ages, Golden Sun, and the unknown god, Link's Awakening DX. Absolutely phenomenal games right there.
