O.k. I must say, as a Canadian, some parts of "Socialism" is actualy quite well thought out, especially the medicare part: We get to get our broken legs fixed for free, we are able to get perscription drugs, heck, I can go to the doctor for a freaking cold and not pay a dime! Having one part of a Socialist ideal does NOT mean that the country is automatically socialist.
Do we give up our freedoms for this healthcare? No! How the heck did you even think of such a lunatic idea? Maybe it is just the fact that I am Canadian and never really needed to directly pay for healthcare that I do not understand the messed up system that the U.S. had/has, but I would rather have a broken leg in Canada than a sprained finger in the U.S.
