[COLOR="Green"]I've been under the assumption that everything in this country's government kinda sucks, regardless of what is passed or who is in office. America is an Unpleasable Fanbase, and no matter what you do, you're not going to make everyone happy. Ever. And even if you make people happy now, someone will come along later and mess it up.
That aside, I find it kind of annoying when people group actions and things on political parties, based on the presidents. The president is basically a figurehead at which Americans can spew hate, only to leave office and rarely be though of in a good light by most of the country, due to some issue that occurred in their presidency that links to them in people's minds, such as Hoover and the Great Depression. Whether he did it or not, that's what people remembered him for.[/COLOR]
