I think Rayquaza is right. If you don't update your threads, or don't give permission for them to be updated, they should be removed to prevent useless clutter. I would say every 2 content patches (new areas) the old threads should be reviewed to see if anything needs to be changed. There's no point in having training threads that tell people that they should be going somewhere super outdated. They'll either get discouraged, get angry, or go find the information elsewhere. All of which leads to the topics still being useless clutter.
