NLs have haste coupled with FJ, and most NLs I see can go faster than me if constantly FJing while I'm recoil shot+wings traveling. The pot lag makes it more difficult to keep yourself alive, but I don't see it slowing you down to below a Corsair's level at all. Even with the KMST balance patch, recoil isn't faster than FJ.
Have a look. Difference quite narrowed, but it's ok, as it's with haste, and they need to earn it with a party or equips, and also takes skill to perform. Anyways, you may not notice from outside, but in my particular case, living from Spain, and all, sometimes (and it's more often than it could seem), the pot lag manages to reach the second jump, making you simply unable to use it again, until a third jump (And lag spikes render you FJless... And potless, it's ok if you just potted, but not the case). What I just mean, is that without that lag, it'd guarantee 100% connections between jumps.

As I said, living far from the servers, like, on a different continent (Yes, I'm from before the "new accounts ip ban" thing) makes you quite vulnerable to it. For example, it's impossible for me to attack on the air after a flash jump, until I'm very close to the floor.
