Maker - Alchemy Skill FAQ and Walkthrough

I'm just wondering now, is it possible to make shields with this? I would love to make a khanjar with 3 to 6 LUK, 2 to 5 DEX/STR and 7 weapon attack or a dragon khanjar (if my bandit ever gets there) with about the same amount of LUK and DEX/STR and 15 weapon attack.
