Using a Digital Camera to record videos, doable idea?

Watch out for the glare, too, that can ruin a video.

I'm also saying not to hold the video camera, although you probably will not hold the camera. Just saying, since I've seen too many videos with someone holding a camera and is bouncing it up and down a lot...
