Using a Digital Camera to record videos, doable idea? - Kawasari Mimoto - 2009-12-01 I did something like this once, close-range. But the vid was short, like... 15 seconds short. I'm wondering if the quality would be viewable when uploaded to Youtube, my cam is 9 megapixels. I'm probably going to record some SSBM matches this way temporarily so I can view my own matches and get better by looking at what I did wrong. Does this seem doable? I have a 2 GB SD card in my camera, if you're wondering. Brand is Kodak, meh. Thanks for feedback. Might as well record vids of the cafe I regularly hang out at as well. I use a digital camera from a few years ago to record some stuff for youtube (although the audio is from a separate source), but the video quality is fine. The quality of your recordings are also dependent of your TV as well, obviously, but it should be fine as long as your TV isn't from the 80's or something.

I'm also saying not to hold the video camera, although you probably will not hold the camera. Just saying, since I've seen too many videos with someone holding a camera and is bouncing it up and down a lot...
