Now you can't even switch families to teleport to someone (I have no idea how some people call this abuse, considering it isn't even farming). This change doesn't even prevent rep farming; I made a new rep mule yesterday, with only minor problems. This definitely hurts people who don't farm rep more than it does those who DO farm it. What if your family members quit? Then you lose rep to leave. People who farm rep would be much less concerned about that loss.
Because Nexon's left hand doesn't know what it's right hand is doing.
This adjustment combats the way rep farming used to work - a chain of nubs on Maple Island rotating around to maximize early gains. They already eliminated that by raising the level requirement and then added this on top way too late to be much constructive use.
This wouldn't have hurt anyone in my family. We didn't family hop. The only impact to legitimate usage I can even see is when you outgrow your senior, but that's really a flaw in the entire family concept along with being able to dissolve the relationship unilaterally and numerous other quirks.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.
