You know what? Gimme a second, I'll try and draw out what I understood from this storyline.

I had to hold on my laugh so bad since I'm reading this during work.

Anyway, I find the story very very poorly-written as well. It certainly makes no sense between each sub-quests, but I have to say, the chair is pretty awesome.
