Harrison did a nice job of translating. But through the translation, you get the feeling that it's been directly translated so that it's word for word as opposed to fully translated so that sentences reflect the same emphasize as it does in chinese.

(Note: You changed 廢物 directly to garbage, which caused it to lose its meaning. 廢物 means garbage, but it has a stronger meaning in Chinese and holds the same magnitude as a cuss word. I think it's OK to translate 廢物 to pomegranate, but then it'd sound kinda awkward.)
