Magic vs Technology in Maple... I would say Magic wins.

Unless... we assume the very existence of magic has changed the course of technology, allowing it to improve beyond magic.

Technology now has precautions using a cage of grounded metal around sensitive computer components to stop these kind of attacks.

The only attack I could see still doing damage is thunder spear if it was realistic lol and chain lightning but still not enough power to completely obliterate a caged computer look at the CN tower it gets struck and it doesn't explode
