That's just his first 8 months out of a possible 8 years. Ready for more? He sure seems willing to make it so.
Idiots are always ready to follow a demagogue. He gets up before a crowd and makes a speech, and their souls open to him, and he pours anything he wants in, and it's no longer "his" beliefs, it's "their" beliefs, and they'll do anything to defend it. The dumber the listener before the politician is, the more true this is for him. Think of how stupid someone has to be to beleive that a speech a politician gives is the true indicator of who he is. It's been carefully edited and re-edited, and prepared for months, but they think it is the "real Obama." For fuuck's sake.
And it's not a liberal demagogue thing. Conservative demagogues did the same thing, (David Duke, Joe McCarthy, Adolf Hitler.) However, a trait peculiar to liberalism is that they think they are the "wave of the future," andd it's so exciting and "new and original" that anything the other guys say must be dumb and wrong. It's a curious pattern that a lot of young people start out as liberals and grow more conservative with age. This is because they go from having no money of their own, (and thus liberalism is good because they defend squandering someone else's money,) to having a house, and a car and a bank account, (which the liberals will empty out because the former liberal is now the "someone else.)

and what's with the two (insert insult here) people arguing.. Obama is not god and Socialism is good unless you're a selfish piece of crap and can't live without indulgding in greed, glutteny, and pride (consevatives/Republicans are Religious my ass...)
Ok, how about you work for a living and give all of it up "to good," and live in a cardboard box, and I work for a living and use it to buy food for my table and a roof over my head and education for my children. You're a socialist, I am a capitalist. The difference between you and me is you are telling me what to do with my money, and I am telling MYSELF what to do with my money, and that is none of your fuucking business. That's why I am not a socialist; using the government to strong-arm money from hard-working people to feed the riff-raff is what socialism is all about. In capitalism helping the needy is called "charity," and there is no strong-arming involved. I am quite sure that in America more "charity" gets handed out than was handed out in Soviet Russia, that is unless you count crooked politicians pocketing it all as "charity."
