Most people who question America, and what it is don't really understand what an American really is. I'm in a military, don't essentially agree how our government works.
When the forefathers created the constitiution there were a lot of things different. A lot of gray area's that they could have never predicted in their imagination. It's unfair to simply say our leaders are incompetent or what have you when they aren't withholding a certain standard that our forefathers laid out for us.
Now I'm not going to sit here and rant about the following 8 years of pure pomegrante but let me say this. It wasn't George's fault, it wasnt Clinton's fault, it wasn't anyones fault. It was several events that led up to one huge blow up. I don't agree how George W JR executed the Afghanistan invasion, but none the less it had to be done.
I don't know, I just have faith there are some things our government isn't telling us and they are doing the best of their abilities for our country. America is a double edge sword with said freedoms, an experiment that could go wrong any day it seems like. I don't find it ethical for freedom of speech to stretch as far as Nazis able to parade freely, for children to go around saying whatever they want and being insubbordinate, and a few other things. Theres freedom but there is abuse of it as well.
