'What if' questions like that are completely irrelevant. What if x y z 4 1 9 0 blah blah blah.
What if science as we have it now has laid out for us thousands of things that were incomprehensible mysteries only a short while ago, including basically every last bit of human physiology?
What if we have put men on the moon? Do you think we did it through telekinesis?
'What if' questions like that do a grotesque disservice to the people who spent their lives studying and training and inventing just so lazy fu~ckknuckles like us could use an internet forum to argue with each other about it.
