Leeching is a DEMAND from the lazy.
Leeching causes nothing.(except Meso gain for the leech providers)
Most things in life aren't linear and purpose driven, but everything in Maple Story is, considering it's man made. There currently isn't anything available for level 200 players to do after the quests are done.
Leeching results in a severe lack of people to train with and people that actually play the game in general. The low amount of high level players in Mardia, which used to be one of the best servers, is a clear result of it.
