*VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - AndCapitals - 2009-02-19 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABq7_N7OG74&fmt=18 *35,000,000 HP *3 minutes and 50 seconds *Onyx Apple *Level 180 *Watch In High Quality! ***I decided not to pin tengu to a wall and fight him in a more difficult fashion for more entertainment value. I try and put myself in the viewers shoes and came to the realization people want action, mobility and more of a challenge. Showing off a warriors ability to take and deal damage, i decided to fight him out in the open. Because of this the time may have been reduced of the actual "speed" kill time. HISTORY: These series of videos were created to give inspiration to all the aspiring Hero's or Warrior Class in general. I know when I was lower leveled and felt in need of something to get me going, a few youtube video, i.e. the female Hero who solo'd Horntail and the Zakum from KMS. I wanted to be able to do that for someone else too! If these videos make at least 1 persons day out there, I feel they were worth making! Enjoy! *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Takebacker - 2009-02-19 The female hero who solo'd HTs head way back when was from TMS. o_o *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Devil - 2009-02-19 Well I'm glad you're happy with your Hero! ![]() But don't get me wrong, but this vid shows that Hero's are quite a boring class to play... High HP + Pet Auto-Pot + Stance + Brandish = Press attack button for 5 minutes = Gain exp... [repeat] yay? :o *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Findings - 2009-02-19 AndCapitals Wrote:I know when I was lower leveled and felt in need of something to get me going, a few youtube video, i.e. the female Hero who solo'd Horntail and the Zakum from KMS. You needed motivation...to leech? Unbelievable. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Conciente - 2009-02-20 VarsityHero would be a great character if you didn't leech it for a couple of levels. Now it's nothing more than a leecher wanting to be a Hero. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - CrazyNomad - 2009-02-20 Devil Wrote:Well I'm glad you're happy with your Hero! as for me, blast+1h sword= pain to solo crow ![]() i need to keep hugging him to be able to hit :f6: edit: it's kinda weird how the dmg cap make paladin so weak, i can see he doing like 60k+ 1hit of the brandish, it can be 120k+ dmg per brandish, while i almost hit 90k using light charge w/o apple, with apple i can hit 99k 50% of the time, its just a waste for paladin use apple to solo crow. B>dmg cap removal

Quote:You needed motivation...to leech? If you want to discuss this further, please take it to private messages. This guy probably didn't post a video to have people point fingers about his "leeching", whether it's true or not. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Findings - 2009-02-21 Summary of my post: I find it unbelievable that players in this game need to be motivated to hang on a rope and let people train them Summary of Conciente's post: Discussion of what a good character is. How he could make it better, etc. Just because two people acknowledge a well-known fact about the featured user doesn't mean that they are both saying the same thing. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Providence - 2009-02-21 Findings Wrote:Summary of my post: I find it unbelievable that players in this game need to be motivated to hang on a rope and let people train themWhile yours was more of a comment toward a specific sentence, his was more-or-less "sorry, your character sucks because you leeched." I also fail to see how anything he said had to do with "making it better", especially since the only way to "make amends" would be to start over. I think I worded my first post incorrectly, though; my bad. Not knowing what the thread starter's like, this could very well turn into an e-sh'itstorm if he feels provoked by either of the two posts. I just don't think that's what he would've wanted this thread to be, but that's just my opinion. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Conciente - 2009-02-22 My post didn't say anything that could provoke anyone to start an argument... I was merely stating the truth. What I don't like is people that are not deserving of what they have to be doing this sort of stuff. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Chompy - 2009-02-24 I am glad I am not in Mardia where people apparently are just looking for an reason to cut someone down and flaunt their douche-baggery. ... I thought the movement in the video really added to the excitement. Watching a pinned solo is just so unbearably boring. GOODJOB

What you just described is the purpose of leeching. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Chompy - 2009-02-24 Findings Wrote:What you just described is the purpose of leeching. I always assumed that laziness or trying to escape the insane grinding curve of MapleStory was the purpose of leeching.

Laziness is a cause of leeching, but not the purpose behind it. Lazy people need a reason to do something just as much as anyone else. The grinding curve can not be escaped. It is there all the way to 200, at which point the game is over. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Chompy - 2009-02-24 Findings Wrote:Laziness is a cause of leeching, but not the purpose behind it. Lazy people need a reason to do something just as much as anyone else. Somehow everytime I see you talk you assume everything in life is linear and somehow purpose driven. MapleStory STARTS at 200 for some things. And before leeching lazy people just did powerleveling. Leeching is a DEMAND from the lazy. Leeching causes nothing.(except Meso gain for the leech providers )
*VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Findings - 2009-02-24 Chompy Wrote:Somehow everytime I see you talk you assume everything in life is linear and somehow purpose driven. Most things in life aren't linear and purpose driven, but everything in Maple Story is, considering it's man made. There currently isn't anything available for level 200 players to do after the quests are done. Leeching results in a severe lack of people to train with and people that actually play the game in general. The low amount of high level players in Mardia, which used to be one of the best servers, is a clear result of it. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Chompy - 2009-02-24 Findings Wrote:Most things in life aren't linear and purpose driven, but everything in Maple Story is, considering it's man made. But Yes the LEVELING aspect of maple ends when you can no longer level. Findings Wrote:Leeching results in a severe lack of people to train with and people that actually play the game in general. Just like the decrease of pirates has lead to the increase in global temperature. I guess you must be right since two events happened they MUST MUST MUST be related. All hail FSM ![]() ... Also by best server do you mean most populated? Because the assumption that a former "best" would have the most high levels sould like BEST = higher population which obviously makes Scania the best. ... Right? or did I miss something. *VarsityHero* Episode II: Under Four Minute Tengu/Black Crow Solo - Findings - 2009-02-25 Chompy Wrote:I guess the Dragon Quest and the Echo buff are just glitches then.
