See, reality works both ways. Trying to exclude either portion of it makes you lopsided and prone to looking stupid because you keep saying things that are out of touch with any reality but the fiction being reinforced by the one echo chamber you're willing to listen to.
Case in point; You made up the word "substantial". The truth is they would have to "reopen" the case for any potential bit of information, and the entire point of that letter was that they don't know what's in there. That's what "investigating" means.
The odds do not favor Hillary having sent a smoking gun to Wener's shared phone.
Hell, the odds do not favor anything of even moderate importance being communicated by email at all.
I've said it before, I'll say it again; The email thing is a pathetic witch hunt and still the best anyone has been able to come up with despite mountains of allegations and implications and insinuations. Where there's smoke there's fire isn't as cut and dry as you might think - Sometimes it just means there is an idiot backstage trying to start an arson.
